A commitment to coaching and enhancing the industry
Perhaps nothing symbolizes peer respect more than being asked to train, coach, and mentor others in your profession. Gary is honored to have been asked to do exactly this. He has worked with executives and leaders for many of the most recognizable financial services firms in the United States, sharing the stage with other industry experts, and providing one-on-one mentoring and training, from coast-to-coast. This is a distinction, he believes, has allowed him to give back to the industry, and leverage his experience exponentially to help others. A commitment to serving a broad and diverse client base Since 1992, Gary has encountered an extraordinary variety of client situations. He's proud to have helped employees and executives alike from some of American's most recognizable firms in a broad range of industries and geographical areas - firms such as General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Pfizer, State Farm, Consumers Energy, to name a few. He's worked with educators including teachers from all levels of the education spectrum, and institutions like Michigan State, The University of Michigan, and Kettering University. Small and mid-size business owners and solo entreprenuers, are another group he has worked with extensively, including professionals like doctors, attorneys, and other medical professionals. He's provided coaching and consulting to pro athletes, members of the entertainment community, and even politicians! A commitment to giving back to the community Gary and his wife Tracy are dedicated to making the communities they serve better. Along the way they have provided support for inner city athletic programs in Flint, the Children's Miracle Network, The Alzheimer's Association, a variety of Veterans initiatives, the Humane Society, and others. The idea that we can change our reality by strengthening the foundations of the communities we live and work in is one both Gary and Tracy have followed for decades. A commitment to long-term relationships and stability A lifelong resident of Michigan for 55 years, he’s been married to wife Tracy for 30 years as well. He located GL Fisher Capital Management in the historic Mott Foundation Building to be a part of the renaissance taking place along the I-75 corridor in Michigan, between Detroit and Flint. He also spent six years living in West Michigan, and has maintained a presence there for 20+ years. Believing that loyalty and trust is the only possible way to build a long-term relationship, he has made this a bedrock principle of both his business and his life. Gary’s philosophy with people is always “We’re in it together, and we’re in it for the long haul!” |
